MAD Leadership Team

Martha Donato
President

Martha Donato, President and Founder of MAD Event Management, has been producing large-scale events and conferences for over 25 years. 

Donato produced conferences for Crain Communications for several years, which involved the management of a portfolio of conferences and special events in the commercial insurance and risk management sectors, as well as ten+ years developing the pop culture event business for Wizard Entertainment nationally.

She served on the SISO CEO Summit Planning Committee, the SISO Board of Directors, IAEE New York Chapter Board of Directors and was the inaugural President and a co-founder of the North American Chapter of Women In Exhibitions Network, and is a member of the International WIEN board.

Donato’s skills include event planning, marketing, sales/sponsorship, and operational expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Marist College in communications.

Martin Glynn
CEO

Glynn has been involved with event production for over 30 years, his last position being the CEO and co-Founder of Metropolitan Expositions, a general contractor based in Moonachie, NJ. In his role as CEO, he oversaw the operations, finances and business development of the company, as well as those of the sister companies, MetroMultiMedia and Metro Transportation. In his role as CEO of MAD, Glynn guides strategy and direction within all sectors of the business. 

He also serves on the Customer Advisory Board at Huntington Place in Detroit.

Glynn holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

C3 | Comic Creator Conference

Mad Event Management LLC, produces a bi-coastal conference known as C3:Comic Creator Conference, an event designed to connect creators with other high-level industry professionals to empower them with exclusive and personal insight, education, and networking by directly connecting them with decision makers, peers, publishers, and other leaders within the industry.

Long Beach Comic Expo is an annual event held at the Long Beach Convention Center each spring. It’s a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators and creators of all types of pop culture. At the Long Beach Comic Expo you’ll find exhibitors promoting and selling all types of related products, as well as entertaining and educational programs, guest signings and meet and greet sessions with celebrities.
